And the effect on manoeuvrability is simply stunning. The Austrian-built Lindner Lintrac turns in a compact 9.5m circle in standard format. Then add in the €5,400 option of four-wheel steer, and that circle tightens to less than 7m — ideal for working on Austrian hillsides and also for loader applications in and around old-style farm buildings.
Lindner plans to market just the one model version of the Lintrac when it goes into production in mid-2014, but the firm says it’s possible that smaller and larger four-wheel-steer tractors might follow, depending on how the Lintrac 90 is accepted by customers.
